Introduction

Rolla is a health & fitness platform that allows you to track your health metrics, your fitness activities as well as your overall diet.

Your privacy is important to us (“Customer” , “You” , “User”, “Your”) , therefore we’ve written this policy to help you understand what information we collect, process, store and share when you create Rolla account and/or use Rolla One & Rolla World applications and/or other Rolla products that include a link to this Privacy Policy and how we process your personal data.

This Privacy Policy is subject to change. Should we make any changes to the privacy policy, we’ll notify you by changing the “Last modified” date at the top of the policy as well as sending you an email newsletter a week before change. In some cases we’ll send you a notification or make a statement on our website about the changes in our policy.

We encourage you to review our Privacy Policy whenever you interact with our applications and make a note of the changes made in this policy.

Information we collect

We collect necessary information in order to provide you with the best possible experience. However, we do not intentionally collect information from persons who are considered children under regulations and laws regulating personal data protection . If you are aware of a child that is using our services, kindly report the account to privacy@rolla.app

The following is the information we collect:

3. Information we collect with third-party tracking service providers.

Information you provide to us:

In order to use one of the Rolla applications, you need to create an account. Upon account creation we ask you to provide us with the following:

1. Your First and Last Name
2. Your Email Address
3. Your Height & Weight
4. Your Date of Birth
5. Your Country
6. Your Time Zone

If you prefer not to disclose your first and last name, you are free to use alternate first and/or last name.

The legal ground for processing your e-mail address and password is our legitimate interest in providing you with a sign-in method in the Rolla app, securing your account, sending you important information about your Rolla app, providing quality customer support, or ensuring a quality experience for all customers and ensuring adherence to our terms. If you provide your opt-in consent to receive direct marketing information from us, we will also process your email address or other account identifiers for the purpose of sending you marketing communications (e.g., emails, push notifications) about our products, services, and apps, as well as newsletters. The legal ground for processing your email address for this purpose is your consent.

Your age, height and weight are collected and processed to personalize your account and accurately track your performance, calories burned and weight changes using the Diet module of Rolla One application. We also collect any other information you provide us with, such as your profile picture or an avatar.

Since you only need one account to use the Rolla One & Rolla World application, make sure to be aware of the information you share since some of the information will be public when using the Rolla World application.

Since Rolla World is a Virtual Cycling, Running & Jogging application, you’ll workout with others and your first and last name will be made public so others can see you on the leaderboard.

If you prefer not to disclose your first and last name, you are free to use alternate first and/or last name.

Should you use third party service registration, such as gmail, we collect information you’ve provided to gmail which consists of: your first and last name, birthdate, gender, country, time zone, your profile picture.

Finally, we collect any information you provide us with, whether you participate in a contest, fill out a job application or a survey, or interact with us on third-party social media platforms or when requesting customer support.

Information about your product usage

When using our applications, in order to deliver you the best possible experience we can, we collect, process and store information about your in-app activity and the legal ground for processing this data is your explicit consent which you can withdraw at any time within your account.

Diet module is a weight management section within the Rolla One app. In order to effectively and accurately use weight tracking and calculate your weight change, we collect information such as meals you’ve added, calories consumed, weight goals and weight you’ve provided us with.

The Activities module in the Rolla One application is designed to monitor your fitness activities. If you choose to engage in Virtual Jogging, Cycling, or Running, you will need to download the Rolla World application. All Virtual Activities are initiated from the Rolla One Activities module. When utilising the Activities module in the Rolla One app and the Rolla World app, we gather the following data:

• Activity Type
• Routes selected if you’re using Virtual activities
• Devices connected
• Goals
• Your Pace
• Duration of the activity
• Distance done
• Calories Burned
• Cadence
• Energy Expenditure
• Heart Rate if you’ve connected HR Monitor or Device that tracks your heart rate.
• Power
• Functional Threshold Power
• Speed
• Other similar data

When you’re using Rolla Band, we collect, process and store your fitness metrics, such as: heart rate, heart rate variability, steps, sleep, active calories, resting heart rate and other similar data. By collecting this information we’re able to tailor and personalize your experience with our products & services, helping you achieve your health goals effectively.

Finally, there is some information that we collect automatically from you. Such information is log information which helps us understand which Rolla One app version you have, mobile device details, your IP address, hardware model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers and mobile network information.

Information we collect with third-party services

We use different third-party service providers to collect certain information including but not limited to: cookies, web beacons, advertising and analytics tools and software development kits “SDKs”.

If you connect Garmin or other services we may collect information from that service. The information we collect depends on the information you decide to share with us.

The legal ground for this processing is your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time by disconnecting your account from the third-party app within your account.

Tracking Technologies

We may also partner with selected third-party vendors to allow tracking and remarketing services on our web & mobile app.

We encourage you to review their privacy policy and contact them directly for responses to your questions.

In order to provide you with the best possible experience and improve our application, we may partner up with following third-party vendors:

1. Google Analytics - analytics tool used for web & app tracking.
2. Mixpanel - analytics tool used to understand your in-app behavior whose analysis we use to improve your experience.
3. Adjust - mobile measurement partner allows us to understand from which campaign customers are coming from and allows us to tailor your ad experience

Use and Share of Information

Rolla doesn’t sell or rent your personal identifiable information to third parties. In order to help us understand, enable or improve your app experience we may share your information with our subsidiaries, third-party service providers such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Adjust, Email Marketing Tools and Advertising tools such as Facebook, Google, Bing, Apple or other Rolla’s sub-contractors.

The information we collect from you and third-party services is used to but not limited to:

• Sending you updates, security alerts, customer support messages
• Monitor and analyze trends, web and app usage and activities in connection with our applications
• Personalize and improve your web & app experience, provide advertisements, content or features that match your preferences.
• Communicate with you about products, services and offers offered by Rolla

We may also allow you to share your information on other services. For example, you may want to integrate Rolla One with Strava. When you integrate with other services, we share your information to those services based on what you allow to share.

Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your Rolla account is considered to be active or in accordance to applicable law and regulatory obligations. We do not have a set limit we reach until we remove your data. Should you decide to delete your account, your Personal Identifiable Information is deleted, however we do keep in-app activity information. Since your personal identifiable information is deleted, we cannot connect in-app activity information with you. Or you may reach out to us at privacy@rolla.app in order to remove your account along with your data.

International Transfer of Data

Rolla is a global business. To offer our products, apps, and services, we may need to transfer your personal data to Rolla-owned companies in other countries.

Your personal data will be collected and stored on servers in the EU, and/or U.S., and/or U.K.

All Rolla-owned companies are required to follow the privacy practices set forth in this Privacy Policy.

Your Choices

Account Information

Should you decide to delete your account, kindly reach out to us at privacy@rolla.app. Please keep in mind that we may need to hold onto certain data as it’s requested by law or for legitimate business purposes. Additionally, we may keep cached or archived data copies for a certain period of time.

Rights

You have the right to request access to and rectification or erasure of your personal data, data portability, restriction of processing of your personal data, the right to object to processing of your personal data, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Cookies

The majority of web browsers are configured to accept cookies by default. However, you have the option to adjust your browser’s preferences to either reject or remove browser cookies. Kindly keep in mind that if you choose to remove or reject cookies, it may impact the availability and functionality of our services.

Promotional Communications

To stop receiving promotional emails from Rolla, you can choose to opt out by following the instructions provided in those emails. However, even if you do opt out, you may still receive non-promotional emails from us regarding your account or updates related to our Services.

Mobile Push Notifications/Alerts

Should you consent to marketing, we may send promotional and non-promotional push notifications or alerts to your mobile device. It’s possible for you to stop receiving these messages at any time by adjusting the notification settings on your mobile device.

Children’s Privacy

Our company does not intentionally gather data from children and we do not aim our services towards minors. In the event that you suspect a child has provided us with their personal information, please inform us at privacy@rolla.app, and we’ll make every effort to remove such data from our records.

Request Your Data

You hold the right to access any personal data we have about you. Furthermore, you can request that any inaccurate or incomplete information be corrected, erased, or transferred to another organization.
